South Bend Lathe Belt Tension Lever, Turnbuckle, Rods 9"
This auction is for the flat belt tension lever. Turnbuckle, threaded rods from an old 9" South Bend Lathe with the horizontal drive set up. The parts are in good shape for their age. The threaded portions of the rods have some nicks in them but they function just fine, the turnbuckle can be rotated easily with fingers when assembled throughout the entire adjustment range. When the adjuster is fully closed the length is approx 12" O/C when opened with 3/8" engagement left of both rods in turnbuckle, the length is approx 14" O/C. You will also get the clevis pin to attach the lever to the headstock of the lathe. Good Luck!
