WW II MP HELMET AND LINER
I believe this is a WWII helmet and liner with MP written on the steel helmet. There is writing on the headband. It is hard because it is worn- believe it says Type 11. Dec. 19_ the last two digits are worn off. On the inside of the helmet the owner's name is hand painted. It also says Tinstar Productions. It has dents on one side which would represent possible bullet holes. It may have been used in some sort of a movie but it is an old original helmet. We are selling it as found.

The 57th Military Police Company was activated at West Point on 15 August 1958 and attached to the 1st Battle Group. 1st Infantry. It was a TO&E unit with 4 officers, 2 warrant officers, and 135 enlisted men. In addition to maintaining discipline, law and order on the post, the Military Police were responsible for conducting the majority of the USMA's ceremonial functions, such as the color guard and military funerals. Chips and scratches in the paint. The original chinstraps are in great shape. This displays very nice and is a must for any MP or USMA collector! Offensichtlich war nur: Die Kamera lässt sich einschalten. Das Objektiv fährt aus. Beim Druck auf Auslöser arbeitet der Autofokus und die Kamera belichtet ein Foto, das dann am Computer auch wie üblich und völlig in Ordnung von der SD-Card kopiert und bearbeitet werden kann. Nur man sieht eben nicht am Display. Was man fotografiert: also ... morevölliger Blindflug beim Fotografieren Allerdings: Ich habe einen VF2-Sucher und mit dem ist alles in Ordnung ist- es wird also das Live-Bild wie üblich angezeigt und a lles läuft wie gewohnt. also für jemanden.
