Using the stage controller I was able to get it to move and it moved fluidly in all directions(X. Y, Z, Theta) The Kinemate Software on the NT 4.0 Workstation also was able to move the stage. I do not have vacuum or air and could not test that functionality. I do not have the expertise to test any other functionality but if there is anything you need me to check I will try. There was only one cable that I could not connect which I believe was attached to a video printer which we did not get. It is sold as-is and you are welcome to inspection. The microscope has a wafer loader stage as seen along with dual heads with 10x eyepieces and Nikon BD Plan 10.20,40 and 100 objectives. Condition Both the microscope and the loader have issues! The microscope has a lot of scratches and scuffs as seen in the pictures. The light source on the top works but it is glued on one side as seen in the pictures. It features a motorized turret but the switch for the objectives on the bottom does not work. You can still rotate them manually by hand. The objectives and eyepieces both have some scratches as seen but they produce a decent image. The NWL-641 loader powers up but none of the front panel buttons respond. It consists of a Leica INM200 inspection microscope on a TMC 79-25431-01 Optical Table with what I assume to be an automated wafer handling system and a MicroVision MVT PC20 control computer. The Leica scope is fitted with six objectives. Five are Leica PL Fluotar and the sixth is a Leica PL APO 150X. At this point I can’t really tell you a whole lot more as the system is still sitting in the surplus warehouse. Chances are I won’t have a chance to retrieve it for another week or two. So I can’t comment on it beyond what you see in the pictures. It’s a bit dusty from sitting around in surplus. But otherwise to my untrained eye appears to be in very good condition. Whether everything you need is right there I cannot say. I apologize for the ... morepictures. I was in a hurry to get something to work with and the lighting was terrible. I will improve on them after I pick it up. There is a Nokia box underneath it. That is just the now worthless CRT monitor although I think there are a few pieces in there with it. The other box off to the left is just the APC power conditioner. There are some cables with the system behind the Nokia box. But I have no idea if all the cables required are present. The system was sent to surplus by the Science Museum of Virginia. The surplus staff was all excited because the Science Museum guy said that they had never used it. Of course not. What would they have used it for? So no doubt it has been used. Was probably a corporate donation that sat around unused until they got tired of storing it. Probably came from Motorola like the Fusion Semiconductor 200 ACU Asher I have listed. That tells you everything I know about the thing at this point and some speculation as well. Recently removed from a shut down hard drive manufacturing facility. I believe this was part of the MIS 200 automated inspection station. Overall this is in good to excellent cosmetic condition. It appears the only things missing are the light source for the Confocal Module. And the stage controller. Besides that, it comes complete with a full set of PL Fluotar objectives. Also included in the sale is a second Ergoplan microscope that is for parts only. No optics, and it missing other pieces. It would be good to use for spare parts for the nice system.
