I’m not too sure about this item. I have not idea what it is or what it was supposed to be. Found this at my parents’ house. As they have been packrats throughout the years. My dad thinks he may have gotten this while traveling in the Army but does not remember any specifics about it. This is an unusual piece, obviously from Bad Nauheim, Germany. One thing unusual about this piece is it is from 1946 Germany and looks to be made of aluminum or some other type of aircraft/missle material. During the WWII period in Germany almost all available scrap aluminum was absorbed for the war effort. Anyway, these appear to be machined parts and one of the pieces looks like it could have been an ashtray. The entire piece weighs 2 pounds 10 ounces and the base section is 11-1/4 inches long. Richtig's tempering process for blade steel was a closely held secret that he took to his grave. Up for sale is an Apple Mid-2007 iMac front aluminum bezel. Glass, and LCD lot. The aluminum bezel has a part number 620-4002. The LCD monitor has not been tested. This was pulled from an iMac that was given to me that had video issues. I do not know enough about iMacs to even attempt to fix it. So I am parting it out and selling it as-is. The LCD is a bit dirty/dusty(I did try to clean it off with some Windex, so there is some streaking on it) but appears to be scratch free. The LCD model number is M201EW02 and is made by AU Optronics. The glass and aluminum bezel has lots of light to moderate scratches. As well as some heavy/deep scratches(note that the glass only has 1 heavy/deep scratch, in the upper right corner- it is approximately 2-3" long. Since I am unable to test the LCD. Antique Cast Aluminum/Cut Glass Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 3-Socket
Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. It's in very good condition considering it's age. No chips. Cracks or breaks that I can see in the metal part. The glass part on the top piece has a couple of chips. One of the pictures shows them. The spot they are in makes them not too noticeable. Has some scuffs, but not bad.
