For sale is a previously owned Stentura Protege that comes equipped with a tripod stand. Battery pack, protective case, realtime serial cables and serial-to-USB cable. This model is ready to be hooked up to CAT software for realtime use. This was my machine in school and I used it with the student version of Digital CAT software, which is free. This saved me a ton of money on paper, although of course it can still be used with paper if you choose. The machine has been recently cleaned and oiled and is in great working condition. StenoCast X1 Cordless Realtime Hookup with Charger I am a professional court reporter and used this setup when I was using a Stentura 8000 LX with Case Catalyst software(don't think software matters though) The one gadget hooks up to the back of the Stentura and the USB gadget hooks into your laptop(my laptop had XP at the time.not sure if that matters or not.I am not a tech person) Was a great setup because it eliminated a lot of cords! Battery on it lasts a long time. I usually just charged it up on the weekends. It will blink when battery is getting low and it can be plugged in and charging while performing realtime.
