Here is a nice clean unit. And it appears to be ready to go. I have tested with signals of 20Mhz. 100Mhz, and 648Mhz and they are all right on frequency with flatness within 1.5db across the bands. I cannot test higher but I did look at the harmonics out of my signal generator and it will go all the way up to the high end of the frequency spectrum without any problems that I can detect. I don't do the tested with power on thingy. I give you a fair confidence check on every unit and an honest opinion. I cannot say this will work in every aspect of it's highly complicated capability. But I can say I would use it in my shop without hesitation. No cables. Display unit, power cable or loads come with this unit. It is the Spectrum Analyzer section HP8568B unit only. Serviced, thoroughly checked out and is in excellent working condition. It is a late production unit with the newer style CRT and circuit boards- much more desirable than the older units. I have many years experience working with the 8566/8568 series spectrum analyzers so rest assured this unit has been very carefully checked out. This Spectrum Analyzer is fully synthesized. it has features and performance that equal or exceed many new units! On screen markers. Built in frequency counter(with programmable resolution) 3 separate trace displays just to name a few. This is one of the best Spectrum Analyzers that HP ever made- just ask around! This analyzer includes interconnect cables and the power cables. All the switches and controls feel and work perfectly- none are sticky or loose. The display is sharp and bright. Calibration is spot on. Both fans run quiet and smooth. All 4 feet are present. I am quite certain that you will be very pleased with this one. The high stability ovenized reference oscillator has been calibrated against a GPS locked Rhubidium standard.
