The focus and intensity adjusters work. The trace is nice and sharp no fuzz. I keyed 10MHZ for the center freq and 15MHz for the span freq. I connected the HP 3585a to my Tektronix signal generator and a 50 ohm load and dialed up a rough 10MHz on the generator. See the HP 3585 response to that circuit in the photo below. It works! Cool.
