And far better than the 8562a, also the sensitivity is in between the 8562a and 8563e, and the frequency stability is near the same as the 8563e. also one advantage this has to the more expensive E version is that it has built in signal ID and demodulator standard! 8563e doesnt have either standard. I have both 8562a and 8563e for sale as well but I recommend this unit to most people who dont need super high sensitivity or super high bw resolution but still need something with real high performance and on a budget. this out performs the 8562a in every way and is about 5 years newer model. its 1000$ more but very well worth it Im sure you will agree. this model was made at the same time the 8563e was produced!thats 6 years after the 8562a was introduced) and the E series is around 9500 to 10,000$! 8593e 9 khz to 26.5 ghz. Calibrated! according to hp its only supposed to go to 22 ghz however it really goes to 26.5 ghz pretty much within spec. only the full span stops at 22 ghz. Sold with 14 day right of return. this is a 1999 model! the last year these were produced(started in 1992) this unit performs amazingly. Some aspects of it perform better than the expensive 8563e! Unit has opt 41 the parallel and gpib option with keyboard interface. And brand new crt from the manufacturer! since they dont have many options if any I will offer any 1 option installed for free(besides tracking gen) and you can pay a bit extra to have more than 1 installed. both units are the last year model that was produced by agilent. 1999. after this the model was discontinued. it started in 1992. this unit is one out of many analyzers. and I also have 2 8563a. ... more3 8563e, 6 8562a, 2 8562e, 2 8561e, and 1 8560e and a million 859 series analyzers as well w tracking generators and other opt configs. 8593e 9 khz to 26.5 ghz. The standard model only goes to 22 ghz. this one actually has option 26/27 so it has an upgraded ytf which allows for better frequency response past 22 ghz up to 26.5 ghz. plus it has a full span( high band) 2.9 ghz up to 26.5 ghz or so. it was upgraded after first sold so the 26.5 ghz is not on the nameplate but you can clearly see it has the upgraded ytf inside when you remove the case and it also has the full 26.5 ghz span. this im 100 percent sure of as this analyzer is my expertise. I even compared the same part number with another unit with the 26.5 ghz on the faceplate to make sure) this has the n type connector but for no extra charge I can swap out the n connector to 3.5 mm which makes it opt 26 otherwise its option 27 now that it has the n connector. sold with 30 day right of return. has opt 23 the rs 232 ... moreinterface with keyboard interface. Crt, looks excellent and it also has option 27 of course, it also has option 004 which is a must. it makes the frequency accuracy litterally 30 times more accurate. for those who dont need rs232 I can exchange it with option 21 gpib interface w keyboard. Then realigned the yig/yto and cal out freq which calibrates the frequency accuracy across the spectrum, then performed the ytf realignment which calibrates the amplitude and preselector, then complete flatness calibration and realignment according to the service manual. this unit performs like new in regards to amplitude, attenuator, and frequency accuracy. my cal is much better than any cal lab's calibration because I run all the manual adjustments. they only run it thru a softwa

free face cover and mass memory module with buy it now purchase this unit is far better than the 8594e. Only advantage of 8594e is you can add certain otps not available to this machine, tho there are other opts not available to 8594e as well that you can get on this one, also 8594e is lighter weight by 10 lbs and has a crt output monitor. this doesnt. 10 db lower noise floor on this one and narrower bandwidths than the 8594e even with opt 130 narrow res bw. also 8560e has 10 times more stability w frequency at low spans. and I have another one 8560e with tracking gen for only 3500$. opt 1 can be installed at no extra charge if you need it but it doesnt add much value as its just a rear connector.could cause a delay tho.2nd if out) I have another with opt 7 and 8(so you can use external mixers up to 50 ghz! and 1 and another one with no opts. ... morealso I can have the phase noise or spurious noise measurements installed on a free mass memory module before shipment for no extra cost! thats a 800 $ value! 007, Digitized fast time domain sweeps-Refurbished Item- I can add option 001 if you really need it at no extra charge( rear 2nd if out) it will delay shipment a day or two though. crt looks new. no burn. I can sell you a set of mixers to get 18 to 50 ghz if you like on this unit. since this has the external mixing opt 8 signal id which allows you to get cleaner more pure signals when using mixers. Then it would be perfect for testing those high freq's at a budget price. if you dont need the opts im selling 2 other ones for only 4000$.
