Compact Disc CD Cloud Analyzer Vtg High-Tech Research Lab Test Equipment
This is a Compact Disc Cloud Analyzer. It was made in 1996. I think it is for testing the polymers on CD's but I am not sure. It plugs into a computerto get the information. There is no screen. I have not used it and I do not know anything about how it works. It came from the lab of someone who did research in plastics and polymers. There is a layer of dust on it. But there is no obvious damage and it appears to my untrained eye to be in good condition. It weighs about 20 pounds. It is 17 by 11 by 9 inches. If you have any questions. Please feel free to ask. Vtg High-Tech Research Lab Test Equipment Light Scattering Photometer?
This is a vintage piece of research test equipment. I think it is a Light Scattering Photometer. But I am not sure because the label is missing. The serial number is 767012. The only identifying thing on it says"Hergestellt in der DDR" I beleive DDR stands for Deuschland Democratic Republic also known as West Germany. I have not used it and I do not know anything about how it works. It came from the lab of someone who did research in plastics and other things, but I do not know what its exact use is. I do not know when this piece of equipment was built, but I would guess around the 60's. I do not know if it is missing any parts. There are two wooden cases with extra parts in them. I have owned this for the last 15 years It works for the most part but needs a major tune up. I took the batteries out and put a fan in its place to cool the machine. The 10 mhz crystal is off and will need to be replaced I don't know where to find them It has spent most its life unplugged or powered down when not being used. Comes with a pdf of the maintenance book for it also. Should you have questions ask I will have answers. Will include insurance and enough bubbles to be insurance claim eligible. Plan on spending some time tweaking this to make it run like new again I do not have the time or space for this project. In case the picture didn't show it there is a small crack in the front plastic but its very minor. Last thing if you don't know what this does you probably don't need one of these.

The M10 spectrum analyzer appears to function because the frequency readout on the M100 display tracks the 0-50KHz tuning range. There is nothing to be seen on the scope display because there is an intermittent of some kind that with pressure(percussive maintenance) brings up a screwy display. This is a lot of spare lenses and ceramic electrode holders. Most are used but are very useable and extremely hard to find when you need them. I think a couple of the lenses may be NOS. Newer or never used. There are 9 lenses and 3 electrode holders in the lot. One of the crucible electrode holders also has it's mounting base attached. From/For an ARL Optical Emission Spectrometer Model 34000. Will fit other units of this same vintage with the same type of spark stand. ARL 3360 3460(Applied Research Labs now Thermo Scientific) Lenses measure 5cm x 17cm not counting the height adjuster on bottom.
