This is a Calcutta 250#92 on the bottom of the reel seat. I heard it was some kind of special reel. I see that the reel is very used on the outside. Some one who knows how to put the gold stuff back on it would make it look a lot better. Inside it looks pretty good. It does have a little ruffness when you reel it. It might need a paw sometime down the road. Like I said it has been used. But someone could still get some use out of it. I am donating all the proceeds to a wounded Army vet. Shimano Calcutta 250 Fishing Reel with Carbon Drag and Upgraded Bearings
The spool bearings have been replaced with ABEC 7 bearings. The bushing on the spool has been replaced with a bearing. The drag washers have been replaced with carbon fiber. The worm gear pawl has been replaced with a cubic zirconium model. The worm gear pawl cap has been replaced with a new one. The outside of the reel looks a bit rough but the inside looks ok. The reel you get is the one you see in the pictures. All the parts that were taken out will go with the reel. Let me know if you have questions.

Vintage Shimano Calcutta 250 in original box. All extras. Good condition.
This is a beautiful Shimano Calcutta 250. This is a very sought after reel that's well known for reliability. I have included all paperwork. Tool, oil, manuals, and soft pouch along with the box. All is pictured. The reel does show some signs of age and use but it has many years ahead of it. The print is still in good shape and the box and extras are mint.
