Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6000 Reel. It appears to be in working order. But has not been tested. The over-all condition seems to be very good, with a small/very fine scratch on the crank handle and minor scratches on the crank handle side around a couple of the thumb screws. It looks like someone may have used needle nose pliers to loosen one of the screws. I am not sure how well they show up in the pictures, but at first glance they are easily missed. It does not show signs of being used very much. The Case is in Very Good condition and almost looks new. I also could not get a clear picture of the serial number. The Serial Number is 087202. Vintage ABU Ambassadeur 6000 Baitcasting Reel. The serial number is 027202. This is an early 3 screw reel that was produced in February. 1972 time frame. This Reel has a big A, smooth foot and drag clicker. The Reel is mechanically smooth and tight. Visually. The Reel shows minor surface wear(name scratched on right side end cover) as can be seen in photos- see photos for condition. There may be glare due to the photos flash.
