Up for auction is this very nice ABU Garcia Ambassadeur 6000C. The Original" baitcasting reel. It's in a glossy black finish and looks like it has never been used. I have listed it as used, because it was found at a local auction and I know nothing of its history. I'm unsure of the serial number coding system, but I think it may have been made in 2001, based on the number 010710/6 found on the bottom of the foot. It is marked saying it has a stainless steel bearing drive, a 5.3:1 gear ratio and a line capacity of 245 yards of 14 lb. mono. It is in super clean condition with hardly a mark on it. Mechanically, it appears to work smoothly and work as designed. In my opinion, it's like it just came out of the box. No box included, however. My pictures are always of the actual item(s) so please use the pictures to verify what ... moreit is being offered, as well as condition. Consider the pictures as a vital part of the description. It got the handle and star drag bent in shipping. The click assembly looks to be in great shape. Cap, bushings. In parts alone it is a very good deal. I realize that the finish is a bit on the ugly side. As mentioned I was going to do a complete restore, But got blind sided. I hope this is a great value for someone who needs these parts.
