Shimano Chronarch 100 Bantam Fishing Reel 6.2:1 Gear Ratio Good Condition
Shimano Bantam Chronarch 100 bait casting reel. 6.2:1 gear ratio, six bearings,superstopper gears, silver pearl color, super smooth, good condition cosmetically and operationally. This is another reel that stayed in the modular rod locker of my bass boat that I kept in the garage between fishing trips. You can see a some boat rash here or there which mostly came from laying on the front deck of the boat with my other rods and reels while on the water. Only used in freshwater, no salt water use. I also kept a reel cover on it while stored in the rod locker. I bought this reel several years ago before I quit fishing local bass tournaments so it saw some use but not much. Both reels have been fished. The chronarch more so than the bantam. Both come with braided line. Chronarch is in great mechanical condition. Smooth as they should be. The bantam pro mag has been very well taken care of. Very very minute marks. Action is smooth as well. Very respectable for a reel as old as it is. Both have been meticulously cleaned( oil. Grease, etc) I use cal's drag grease and yellow label tg's rocket fuel for oil. You will not find an ounce of dirt on either. Thanks for looking and God bless. This"classic" pearl white Shimano Chronarch 100A is still extremely smooth. Quiet, and has minimal boat rash. The anti-reverse slips sometimes which is common in these models so it could use a new one-way roller bearing to fix this single issue. Otherwise, this reel is very nice and ready to fish. Thanks! I have a very nice Shimano Bantam Chronarch 100 baitcast reel with a 6.3:1 retrieve ratio up for auction today. This reel just came back from being serviced. Super smooth, all cleaned up, I would say it is a 9 out of a 10 on the cosmetic scale and 9.5 out of 10 mechanically. Very little wrong with this reel, a few light scratches here and there, this reel weighed in right at 8.3 ounces. I do have a sister reel just like this one for sale in another auction.
