Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5500C reel. Right hand. Everything is original, and serial number is 790904. I bought this reel new around 1979. I honestly don't remember exactly. It is in very good cosmetic condition, and exceptional mechanical condition. It was only lightly fished through the years. I used other reels and kept this one in great condition. It works as good as it did when it was new. I just went through it again, and the drag washers are still like new. I always backed the drag completely off and it stayed that way. I work on a lot of reels, and know one in very good condition. This is a real collectors piece. I can say this one only has 3 tiny scratches on it and they are in the pics. They are very tiny. Everything is original, and the box, papers and the extra centrifugal brakes are in the original plastic bag, and the clear ... morearbor on the spool is installed. The original service manual, warranty card, envelope, and owner's manual is included. The box is in exceptional condition.

Used but in excellent working condition. Does have some scuffs. Scratches, paint chipping. Overall still has a great vintage look. Does have a break in the metal panel on the handle underneath the oil bolt as seen in photo 3. Does have a rare upgrade the plastic line block to control line capacity as seen on photo.
