The only cosmetic concerns include some scratches to the left side cover as seen in the photos. There is also some wear to a few spots on the gold striping and to the gold Black Max 3600 graphics on the bridge. Despite this. I have had this Abu Garcia Black Max 3600 reel for approx. 10 years and have fished local pools maybe 5 times with it. It has never really been used. So i am listing it. It is a 9 of 10 I would say. I used it today to check it out, it cast flawlessly, super smooth casting and reeling. This is one of the units actually made in Sweden I believe, it says this on the side viewable in one of the pictures. Nice reel, small and light, but Abu Garcia quality. Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Black Max 3600 reels were only made for a few years. They were ahead of their time in terms of design and performance and retailed for $99.00. Do not confuse this round reel with the current low-profile Abu Garcia Black Max. As is there is no comparison. These reels are extremely durable. But susceptible to boat rash. This particular reel has some minor boat rash and comes in original box. However, there are no instructions. The Black Max 3600 is great for the beginning or experienced angler.
