Purchased this reel a couple years ago and could never get the hang of casting with it. I would spend half the day fishing dealing with back lash and untangling my line. I tried it a couple times and went back to a spinning reel. So my lack of skill is your gain. This reel has been sitting in an old tackle box for the better part of two years. It has a few dings in the finish but no rust and operates just as smoothly as it did when I bought it. There is some dust on it that I will do my best to get rid of. Daiwa built these from the same platform as the TEAM DAIWA V103Hi for tournament bass fishing. They boast all metal gears, even the pinion yoke is metal, an aluminum frame and 4 stainless steel ball bearings. This reel is ready to go mechanically for sure, cosmetically well broke in with some scuffs and scrapes, still looks decent.

Nice Daiwa Procaster-X 103 HLA Mag Force V 4 Bearing Left Hand Baitcasting Reel
A nice condition. Mechanically and cosmetically, Daiwa Procaster-X 103 HLA Mag Force V Left Hand Baitcasting Reel. Normal boat rash for a used reel. This reel has been upgraded from 3 bearings to 4(gear shaft bushing replaced with stainless bearing) and the handle has been upgraded to a Daiwa TD-X handle. These left handed reels are the perfect flipping reel for right handed fishermen as you don't need to switch the rod in your hand every pitch or flip of the bait, giving you better reaction time and hooksets. I use 3 of the TD-X and TD-Z models for pitching and flipping and they have become my favorite reels. All of the left handed Daiwas with the top located thumbar are getting rarer every year in good condition. Thanks for looking.
