Anti-reverse works good. Star type drag system works good. Line guide moves fine and is different in that it divides into 2 parts to each side of spool for line release. Line guide has Titanium guards. Spool release good. I do not know how to test the anti-backlash. Has quite a bit of finish loss noticable on side opposite handle. Overall looks good. See photos for cosmetic condition. It is in as found condition. Except for a light cleaning, and will look even better with a proper cleaning. A Daiwa 103HA Procaster X in very good mechanical condition. Super, super smooth. Just lubed up with quantum hot sauce gear grease and oil. These reels are really underrated. Daiwa built these from the same platform as the TEAM DAIWA V103Hi for tournament bass fishing. They boast all metal gears, even the pinion yoke is metal, an aluminum frame and 4 stainless steel ball bearings. This reel is ready to go mechanically for sure, cosmetically well broke in with some scuffs and scrapes, still looks decent.

Up for a No Reserve auction. Is a used, Daiwa Procaster PM 33 SH, baitcasting reel. It is a high speed 7:1 to 1 retrieve, with the Magforce dial brake option, and the patented Autocast thumb bar. It has the tournament performance clutch drive and graphite bearings. It was sold with a lifetime warranty on bearings from Daiwa. It also has a flipping/ casting switch lever on the right side to allow for the flipping option. This reel is a nice older reel and was a ground breaking model for reel companies in moving toward the new higher speed retrieves. It was a well rated reel when it came out! I have a super nice Daiwa Procaster 100H bait caster reel for sale! It is Labelled as Used but this is in nearly Perfect Mint shape! I have had this since late 2007 or so and really thought I was going to be able to start using bait casters but this style reel just is not me. I was never really ever able to perfect the cast so I used it a few times creating obnoxious birds nests then just let it be for all this time. Now I am trying to clear out old gear to start getting more things. I can not remember how much this thing was when I got it. But I know it was not cheap! The reel is complete with no defects and there is very little wear to the physical condition. It is in mint to like new condition. The only small blemish was on the outer plastic cover that protects the spool. The black paint was as shiney as the rest of the aluminum body. ... moreClearly not a big issue but it was the only small blemish I noticed. They do make small amount of noise when reeling. I would guess they just need some oil and cleaning. The PMA33 also has a small'hitch' when reeling.
