This is a Shimano Bantam right handed reel. It is in good condition. It has scratches from use and boat/fishing wear. I cleaned and lubed this reel with frog lube. It had line on it and after cleaning and lube(removed) I adjusted it for casting a 1/2 oz. lure. It cast perfectly and cranked perfect and was smooth as silk with no problems I could see or feel at all. I am selling this reel"as is" It seems to work perfectly in every aspect and if I were right handed I would keep this reel for my self. I have worked on and serviced reels for 25 years and this one is top of the line in my opinion in quality and workmanship and I would 10 to 1 rather have this reel than any other reel made.it's just that good and reliable. I have a lefty I have used for over 20 years and it is still performing perfectly.there is just something about ... morethese older reels you can not get in the new ones. It's kind of like a carbed engine versus a electronic ignition.no comparison IMO. NOTE: Adjustment is everything on these reels. And it is set perfectly now for 1/2 oz. lures. Please contact me if you have any problems with future adjustments on this one or any of your reels. I bet I can save you a lot of $ just by telling you how to adjust. Don't forget the golden rule of adjustment for these kinds of level winds.Always start with 5 on magnetic controls. and go up if windy or raining. Wind and rain acts like weight on the line and will always cause a backlash if not adjusted to compensate. Always adjust knob on side so that lure falls SLOWLY if shaken from tip of rod. If you do this, you should never have any problems. Keep PAWL(line guide) lightly oiled and if you remove side knobs or any other parts, please stay away from water when doing so. In other words, sit down in boat so your parts don't end up at the bottom or even worse, fish bait while fluttering down. This reel has something a lot of fisher people never realize it has. Bantam Mag Plus BMP 15X baitcast reel
Shimano Bantam Mag Plus BMP 15X baitcasting reel that is retrieved with the right hand. The reel is used but it is in normal working condition. This one has the free spool on and off switch which works as it should. Reel has braid line on it but I do not remember the amount or pound test. If I remember correctly I did put a set of gator grip handles on it. I am estimating the boxed reel will weigh one pound.
