Hello! The Shimano Scorpion Metanium MG RH420 was Japan's version of the US Chronarch 100 MG. The Scorpion model is lighter. Has upgraded parts, is better looking. I installed a nice 95mm power handle w/oversized grips that replaced the stock 70mm one, much nicer. Also just recently put new"smoothie" carbon drag washers in. Took really good care of this reel and it is in great shape. Mechanically: Handle& spool spin great. Reeling is very smooth, never had any problems with the reels functionality which is Excellent overall. Cosmetically: Minimal scuffs& scratches with one very thin cut on the thumb bar which isn't noticable by touch. Most noticable is the latch wings to get into the brake system that chipped off one morning when trying to open the sideplate which I over-tightened. My fault.
