This is a longtime reel of mine that's been coddled and only used in fresh water. Also been serviced regularly. The old saying"they sho don't make'em like they used to" applies here. This thing is and has been a jewel. I don't know how old it is. But it must be from the mid-80's as a guess. You'll notice the only marks are on the reel seat where it was on a rod some years ago.
