The Lew Childre Speed Spool you see here has been taken down to its smallest part. Cleaned, and relubed/oiled so that it is as smooth as the day it was made. The drag has its full range, the free spool is perfect, and the silent anti-reverse is functional. This one shows few signs of wear, but the real beauty of the BB1N is its use. As a matter of fact, the reel is even properly spooled with line. The low profile and castability of the this model has long been a favorite of bass fishermen, and I still use one myself. Casts like a dream and love the feel of the handle. This would, to me, be great for a light action setup. Has diecast machined frame. 5.4 to 1 gear ration, 10 bearings and 10lb drag.
