Up for auction is this used Shimano Curado baitcasting reel. It's a left-hand retrieve model No. CU-201. With a 6 to 1 retrieve ratio, and 5 bearings. It has never been used in saltwater and has been well maintained. This is one of 6 I have fished with for years- I obviously love the Curado model- high quality without costing you an arm and a leg. Regardless, I'm cutting down on my tackle and this one is now ready for a new home. It is practicall blemish free and everything works as it should. With that said, I can feel a very slight'roughness' when I crank the reel. I'm not sure if it is in the gears, bearings, or whatever- and it is just a very slight sensation that I feel is slightly different than my other reels. For auction is a Shimano Curado CU-201BSF left-hand retrieve baitcasting reel. It is in very good condition. With only a few nicks and surface scratches. No corrosion. I purchased this reel new about nine years ago when we moved to Florida from Wyoming, thinking I would get into the baitcasting game. I used it a few times with a good rod, but never seemed to catch on to it, as I was used to spinning tackle. The action is super smooth, with 5 bearings and a 6.2:1 retrieve ratio. This listing is for the pictured Shimano Curado left handed bait casting reel with a 5:1 gear ratio. Model number CU201B5. They are known and marked as a Curado B5. This one is previously used. But is still in good mechanical and cosmetic shape. There are a few scratches on the side plates and some boat rash on the top of the reel, but nothing terrible looking. See all photos! This reel is very cool looking with its iridescent color, it changes in the sun light. The reel works well; the gears feel smooth. The drag tested good, the level wind travels easily from side to side, The thumb bar release engaged and disengaged properly too. Vintage Original Ambassadeur 4000D Left Hand Retrieve Rare!
One of the rare direct drive model original Ambassadeurs this beautiful 4000D is a nice addition to any Ambassaduer Collectors spoils. I will double check the Serial# on the foot of this 4000D. In excellent working condition there are a couple of small scratches here and there that should be visible in the photos. Other than some small cosmetic blemishes this 4000D is in nice shape for a Vintage 1970's original Ambassadeur.

Up for bids is a very nice used Quantum Accurist baitcasting reel. AC501CX. It has 5 ball bearings. Is a left hand retrieve, has the flipping switch, and is loaded with 12lb test mono. I have fished this reel maybe 3 times since I bought it new. It is very smooth and can cast long distances. The finish is excellent, but still there a few small scuffs from the boat locker.
