This is a used Shimano Chronarch CH100B baitcasting reel. The gear ratio is 6.2:1. It holds 130yds/10 120yds/12 100yds/14 of mono fishing line, and it has 6+1 AR-B bearings. The reel has been used and has some boat rash but is still smooth like a Shimano should be and the spool spins freely and very well. The drag also still feels smooth and strong. I have tested the reel on the bench and I could find nothing mechanically wrong with it. That said, this is a used reel and is sold as-is. Thanks for looking.

Shimano Bantam Chronarch 100 bait casting reel. 6.2:1 gear ratio, six bearings,superstopper gears, silver pearl color, super smooth, good condition cosmetically and operationally. This is another reel that stayed in the modular rod locker of my bass boat that I kept in the garage between fishing trips. You can see a some boat rash here or there which mostly came from laying on the front deck of the boat with my other rods and reels while on the water. Only used in freshwater, no salt water use. I also kept a reel cover on it while stored in the rod locker. I bought this reel several years ago before I quit fishing local bass tournaments so it saw some use but not much. Shimano Scorpion Metanium Mg *w/95mm handle* / core chronarch 100 mg powell rod
This Shimano Scorpion Metanium MG was Japan's version of the US Chronarch 100 MG. The Scorpion model is lighter. Has upgraded parts, is better looking. I installed a nice 95mm power handle w/oversized grips that replaced the stock 70mm one, much nicer. Also just recently put new"smoothie" carbon drag washers in. Took really good care of this reel and it is in great shape. Mechanically: Handle& spool spin great. Reeling is very smooth, never had any problems with the reels functionality which is Excellent overall. Cosmetically: Minimal scuffs& scratches with one very thin cut on the thumb bar which isn't noticable by touch. Most noticable is the latch wings to get into the brake system that broke off one morning when trying to open the sideplate which I over-tightened. My fault. There is still plenty of surface area ... moreto grab and easily open/tighten the side plate with no problems. It is an awesome reel and is ready to fish. Super light. Powerful, and cast's miles!
