This is an Abu Garcia Ambassadeur5600 C3 round casting reel. The reel foot number is 160016/48. I believe the reel has 3 ball bearings. Instant anti-reverse, aluminum spool, carbon matrix drag, 6 pin centrifugal brake and a 5.3:1 gear ratio. I think its rated for 200 yards of 12# or so. This is a used reel with maybe more than the average signs of use. Check my other auctions for tons more fishing gear as I will always try to combine shipping to save you a few dollars. ABU GARCIA"AMBASADEUR" 5500 C-3 level wind bait cast reel in excellent lightly used condition. Made in Sweden. 3 ball bearings and Hi-Speed retrieve. Some light nicks and scratches. Finish rub on bottom black label ring. Functions are PERFECT. A little cleanable dirt. This is a really nice reel, photos tell the story. Up for auction is an Abu Garcia C3 Series 5501 C3 bait casting fishing reel that is like new in its original box. The box also contains paperwork and an oil tube(that has leaked most of its contents into its unopened package. It has not leaked out) This is a left hand handle retrieve and cannot be switched to the right side. The reel shows no sign of use at all. There are smudges and some signs of its years in the box. But nothing related to use. The reel is completely functional with no mechanical problems. I would give this like new/older reel as close to a 100% as you will find. The box does show wear from age and storage, but it is structurally OK. It has the original owner's name and a price of $79.28 written in ink on the box.
