Vintage Ted Williams 540 Freshwater Baitcasting Reen Ball Bearings Japan Made
I think Daiwa made this reel for Sears Roebuck& Co. but not sure. It's the Ted Williams 540 model about the size of an Ambassadeur 5000. It is a very nice operating reel but shows extensive wear and tear on the exterior as can be seen in the pictures. A good starter reel for the collection or a very good user reel in performance. I Found this Lew's Childre Speed Spool BB1NH 3 Ball Bearings Baitcasting reel in my Father's garage. Comes with box and paperwork pictured. The reel does appear that it has been used. Some scuff marks as you can see in the pictures. I didn't test it with line on it, but it appears to work, it reels smoothly but I am not sure if it has any issues that I cant see or feel.
