Sideplate is marked only with 5000 at the bottom with no C after the 5000. It is made in Sweden. After some research. I found information that there were a few mismarked in production that left the factory marked like this one. Includes original box, papers, tool and reel oil(oil has leaked from the container) Operationally it works perfectly; left in"as found" condition for your personal cleaning. Vintage ABU GARCIA BROWN Ambassadeur 5500 Serial Number 761101 Made in Sweden You are bidding on a Vintage BROWN Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5500 Baitcasting Fishing Reel. It has some tarnish to the chrome but in Very Good Cosmetic and Working shape and a very good vintage reel in all. Handle. Crank, spool adjusters and star are all in very good shape with just some normal wear from use and it still has stickers. Seat. Posts and rings has some slight tarnish wearplease oom in to see well but in all good shape. Spool some lite wear and still in good shape and sits and spins quite well. And has a good looking and working levelwind set with some light tarnish. Headplate and tailplate some wear but both in clearly very good shape and has it has a nice emblem. In all reel is very good shape and a good looking reel in all. The Super-Sized and Zoom-Able ... morepictures are of the reel which show it for your close inspection. This BROWN Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 5500 is in Very Good Working Shape and well ready to fish. Cranks nice and has a nice solid anti-reverse. The frees pool mode works nicely with good bushings and dual manual backlash control and air brakes. The levelwind works all smooth and even and also a nice working drag all variable smooth and strong. Has a well working clutch which dis-engages immediately on first crank. In all some normal finish wear but still a very good collector quality reel ready to collect or fish a field alike.
