Up for auction is a very nice vintage AMBASSADEUR ABU No. 6000 with the original case. The reel is very smooth running with no rust or corrosion. The finish has a couple minor scratches on the edge near the top. Normal on these reels. It seems to have been kept oil well as evidence by some oil residue around the knobs and emblem. The case is in very good shape for the age and as seen in picture. I've tried to show the liner on the case lid is peeled back a little. Please ask questions if I have missed anything. Older version made in Sweden with a reel foot marking of"090802" Mechanically sound with smooth handle to spool retrieve and working level wind function. Exterior is not mint with a few small marks/ nicks as the pictures will demonstrate.Overall I would rate at a 9+ with fairly nice exterior cosmetics and very good functions including free spool release. Smooth star drag and nice crisp feel all about. Will ship international but shipping costs will be adjusted at end of auction to reflect actual costs to your destination. Abu Garica ambassadeur 6000 with bait clicker has some braded line on it probally needs to be taken off also the reel is really dirty looks like it was sitting in the corner of someone's garage or something but reels smooth and in good shape but defentily needs new line and a super good cleaning

Vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 6000 with case. 2 tubes with spare reel parts. One tube has cap that says Abu and the other 6000. Also comes with Abu styrofoam box. Reel has boat rash and needs a good cleaning and oil/greasing. There are no numbers on the reel foot so I don't know year model. I pushed the cast button and reeled it a few times and everything seems to work, but as I said, it needs cleaning.
