Ambassadeur, Vantage Plus 5000C, Stainless Steel Bearing, The Original, Gear Ratio 5.3:1, Made in Sweden, Line Cap. 12LB/205Yds. 14LB/180Yds. 17 LB/130Yds. and heel is stamped 080009/48. Measures approx. 2 1/2" diameter and 2 9/16" across front face. This reel is in very good to excellent condition and show some scratches on left side plate and top right edge and reel is in very good to excellent working condition. This reel is in good shape. It works well. And looks great. Casts weighted lures good bit seems tight on light or plastics so bid accordingly. It is instant anti reverse and has a 5.3:1 gear ratio. This is a very nice used Ambassadeur 5000C Vantage Plus This is the ABU Garcia model that was made in Sweden. This reel is getting harder to find in this good of condition. There are some small scratches from normal light usage. It has what looks like a small smudge on the right cover. Nothing major but I thought I would point it out. As you can see in the photos it is in very clean condition. Everything works as it should. The drag tightens as it should and the free spool releases smoothly. The spool drag adjusts well. It has some spots on silver strip around the rims but not too bad. Not noticiable. The bearings are stainless steel. The reel was made in Sweden. It holds 205 yds of 12lb. test line. This reel has been used but is display worthy. In my opinion. There is a small amount of paint loss but it is minimal. There is no"boat rash" Mechanically, it is excellent. It is equipped with an aluminum spool and has a wide thumb rest. It has stainless steel ball bearings and an instant anti-reverse. The drag is smooth, as is the level winding mechanism, which rides on a nickel plated guide rod. There is an anti backlash adjustment, which helps to prevent the"birds nesting" that wastes so much fishing time. This is made in Sweden. There is some loss of info on the band that lists the amount of line the reel holds in each line size. This info is available on line, but I will list it here. It holds 205 yds. of 12 lb. test, 180 yds. of 14 lb. test, and 130 yds. of 17 lb. test. The serial number is 100011/14. This is the ... morereel in the pictures and the one the buyer will receive.
