This is a matched set of hardened brass main(1302426) and pinion(1302428) cogs as used in the current Record RCN 6600. They provide a 5.3:1 retrieve ratio. Abu Garcia says they will work in the RCN 5600(reducing the retrieve ratio) But I cannot vouch for that. They may fit other Ambassadeurs as well. They are in perfect condition. Abu Garcia Record Ambassadeur 5000 Vintage Freshwater Fishing Reel
A very nice Early Early Garcia Ambassadeur 5000 in the original box with all the original parts.Case and lube. It even has the original manual with it. It has the price sticker on the box that shows it was purchased at Leonards Dept store in Ft. Worth Texas. IM not an expert on these items. I did have it looked at and was told it was a very early piece by them. The serial number on the box does match the one on the real. 0187828. PLease ask any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them. The real is in perfect working order. The box does have some wear on the hinges where it opens and close and does feel a bit on the fragile side but all and all is a solid piece.
