ABU Garcia Ambassadeur 4600 c4 6.3 gears This reel has anti reverse bearing. Two spool bearing and a levelwind bearing. Completely taken apart. Meticulously cleaned, and reassembled using Reel X and Cals Grease. This reel has a some boat rash. But is mechanically very good. I have replaced the plastic idler gears and installed a new pawl. This is the smallest width of the abu round reels. They are slightly lighter. And easier to manage, but every bit as tough as the bigger reels, as most of the components are identical.

Vintage Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 4600 plus. With fst cast, mag brake, narrow spool
This is a used Abu 4600 plus. It is in good used condition. It has the old school spool brake behind the handle PLUS the 10-level magnetic brake as seen in the pictures on the topside of the reel and it also has a nice flipping switch that works fine also. There is wear cosmetically as the black has faded and some wear the spool from use as shown in the pictures but all mechanics seem to operate fine. The decals are good and the reel works well. I am selling my Abu Garcia 4600 C3 reel. I am a collegiate bass fisherman and belive me when I say this reel is in pristine condition. The gear ratio is 5.3:1. I have only used it to throw spinner baits and sometimes 1oz and heavier jigs. This is a great weapon to have in your arsenal for throwing spinner baits, it has just the perfect amount of tension on the spool and is quite hard to backlash, while not sacrificing on casting distance. It has only been used for bass fishing so the internals haven't been pushed to their limits by any means. No box, but will pad when shipped. Mag cast or cast control, right handed frame and extra parts. on the under side of the reel seat are numbers 080009/45 stamped. The reels are usually used in freshwater but are also used in salt. I got this frame with extra parts from a fishing reel parts store/shop.might have been used or just been placed in storage. I will just make it easy and say used. no headaches. for both of us.
