VINTAGE ABU AMBASSADEUR 5000C BLACK AND CHROME FOOT #731002 SMOOTH READY TO FISH
1973 ABU Ambassadeur 5000C perfect mechanical condition. She has some nicks and scratches but mechanically it is in perfect condition. Ready for the next forty years. After tuning this is one of the smoothest ABU's I own. The older Ambassadeurs were built on a chrome over brass frame like the new Record reels, very sturdy. I do not resell garage sales or estate items, I only sell what I have rebuilt and personally fished, there's plenty 5000C's on here but I'll bet mine will outcast theirs! I have full knowledge of the items I have for sale so please ask questions. Look close at the disassembled photo to see all parts have been polished for smooth casting and retrieves. With the brakes out she gets 14-18 bumps on a freespool. Assembled with Cal's drag grease, TSI-321 synthetic lube and ABU Garcia clear lube, chrome parts ... morepolished and waxed with carnauba wax.
