Shimano Bantam Chronarch 100 bait casting reel. 6.2:1 gear ratio, six bearings,superstopper gears, silver pearl color, super smooth, good condition cosmetically and operationally. This is another reel that stayed in the modular rod locker of my bass boat that I kept in the garage between fishing trips. You can see a some boat rash here or there which mostly came from laying on the front deck of the boat with my other rods and reels while on the water. Only used in freshwater, no salt water use. I also kept a reel cover on it while stored in the rod locker. I bought this reel several years ago before I quit fishing local bass tournaments so it saw some use but not much. Spool will hold approx. 210 yards 10# test line. This reel also has a 2 speed shifter and that's where I have a problem. I don't know how it's supposed to work. Everything works fine but there seems to be a great amount of drag noticeable when the handle is cranked and it only gets worse when the"shifter" is moved. The 2200WFS is a nice smooth spinner, casts easily and drag adjusts properly. The 2200FS functions just as well, although the spin has a slight rattle to it so it is not nearly as smooth. For sale is a Shimano Curado Bantam B200(6.4:1 ratio) that has been recently serviced and tuned by Kevin at Pro Reel Service. Reel has 2 new gears as part of that service. I am also including 2 nearly new extra spools with the reel. This was a backup reel that saw very little action since it was purchased. I am replacing the last of my trusty B series"greenies" with Curado E series reels.
