Anyone out there need an eight ohm mono/ stereo 570 watts per side dummy load? I worked part-time for various music stores doing amplifier repair. The perfect tool for anybody that does any kind of mono/ stereo amplifier repair. This load was the most often used item in the repair shop for testing audio power amps. Guitar amplifiers and stereo power amps. I built this in the late 80’s early 90’s and it has just about every needed connector available to make life easier. Phono jack, BNC, ¼“ phone jack, and banana jack. I think I may have gotten carried away with jacks, but I did use them all in misc. repairs. There are a total of 12 power resistors and these weren’t’ cheap back then and still expensive now( $15 apiece) The lower brass spring type connector is common ground and the two top spring loaded jacks are for attaching wires or ... moremonitoring the output with meter or scope.
