This auction is for a lightly used decibel sound pressure level meter. I am selling it because I have very little use for it as of now. It is a really nice meter and was taken care of. It can measure A. C, or F weight. It can measure from 30 to 130 decibels and has a max hold and adjustable alarm function. It will measure fast or slow weight samples. This meter also has a Leq function to find the average spl over a certain period of time. The screen is led backlit and very bold. It comes with the software to graph the spl levels over time as well as the serial and USB cables to hook it up to a computer. It also comes with the user manual and a precision screwdriver to calibrate the meter on the side. General Radio 1565-A Analog dB/SPL meter--mint condition
Old school analog dB meter from General Radio. Built like a tank. Tested and working. The condition on this unit is shockingly good, it literally looks like it could've just come out of the package. And the owner's manual I found on line puts the vintage at about 1965. A must have for home theater and/or equalizer users that want to be able to calibrate things precisely. The specifications from the owner's manual are pictured. This also comes with the original heavy duty leather case that was sold as an accessory and it's in remarkably good shape too. It has the words"DB METER" written on the front of it, and some kind of part number on the side, but other than the writing the case looks like it just came out of the package. Quest Electronics 211A/FS Sound Level Meter For sale- a Quest Electronics 211A/FS Sound Level Meter. Typically referred to as an SPL meter, plus the CA-12 Calibrator. The batteries in the SPL meter were a bit low. One of them so much so that I won’t be shipping it with the meter. I put fresh batteries in the CA-12 and as you can see with the 211A set on 110dB it almost reads 0 which would be the desired result. If I had to guess with a fresh set of batteries in the 211A it would probably be right on the money. But I can’t preclude the possibility that it will need to be re-calibrated prior to being placed in service. So in addition to the 211A and CA-12 plus the padded case you will get 2 fresh 9 volt batteries plus one that measures a bit over 8 volts. So you will need at least one 9 volt battery and the results would no doubt be better ... moreif you had two fresh ones. The meter is untested other than as described and as pictured(the picture with the meter reading about“3” is in the Battery Check position) and NO warranty is offered. However.
