It worked when received. I tested against a model 830 and both read the same when testing a capacitor. Today. I can't get it to read anything other than zeros unless yo go to the lower ranges. Then I can't get it to zero out. I don't have the time or desire to troubleshoot the problem. The battery compartment clips are still like new. Selling for parts or you repair it. No returns please. Heathkit C-3 Condenser Checker. This is a great economical tester for finding leaky capacitors. The internal circuit has been checked over and components replaced as needed to bring it into proper functioning condition, switches and controls have been flushed with a non-lubricating contact cleaner and the tester is working as it should. The 1629 eye tube is good but not as bright as a new tube would be, the white spots are just glare from the room lighting. While these are not known for their accuracy in reading capacitor values test readings are within 10-15% of a known value, where this does shine is in its ability to find leaky capacitors up to 450 volt. Several known capacitors have been checked and it does find the leaky ones and shows the good capacitors as good. This auction is for a vintage PACO resistance capacitance ratio bridge tester. It is a model C-20 made probably in the 1950s with an early sn 3793. I put power on it and a small resistor in the power supply started to smoke so shut it off except to take a photo of the eagle green eye tube. It has 2 tubes a Syl 6x5 and a Pen rad 1629 that works. It is in very good cosmetic condition inside and out with all the control knobs. The front panel and case are in nice condition. I'm sure it can be repaired or just use for the parts you need. Heathkit C-2 Condenser Checker. This is a great economical tester for finding leaky capacitors. The internal circuit has been checked over and components replaced as needed to bring it into proper functioning condition, switches and controls have been flushed with a non-lubricating contact cleaner and the tester is working as it should. The eye tube is good but not as bright as a new tube would be. While these are not known for their accuracy in reading capacitor values test readings were very close to a known value- this one is better than most I've seen, where this does shine is in its ability to find leaky capacitors up to 500 volt. Several known capacitors have been checked and it does find the leaky ones and shows the good capacitors as good. This vintage Heathkit Precision Condenser Checker. Or Condenser Tester, is in great shape. It's body is mildly scratched(as expected, given its age) and it still has the original cord. Test Button Hold Down for Sencore LC102 Capacitor Tester Easy Reform Capacitors
The LC102 is a great cap tester and since it can apply high voltage and monitor current. It's great for reforming capscitors. However, you have to keep pressing the Leakage button the whole time and this can get old after a minute or two. Sencore originally supplied a little spring loaded device to hold the button in for you. But those are almost all gone from the planet. I came up with a nicely working substitute. This is very smooth on both ends so it will not scratch your handle or the button. You just put it in place and turn the center while holding the end. It will expand in length and push in your button! This really works great. It stays in place easily and removes super easily too.

This working vintage PACO Resistance and Capacitance Ratio Bridge model C-20 is in fair cosmetic condition. It has rust stains and scratches on the case but the front panel is OK. I replaced all wax paper capacitors and cleaned all switches and potentiometers. The"eye" indicator tube is bright. I satisfactorily tested several different value capacitors. No other testing was performed. This is a great tester for use in measuring and evaluating capacitors used in vintage tube electronics. I use a similar capacitor tester on my test bench. Sencore LC102 and SCR& Triac Test Accessory. This Sencore LC102 unit is in good physical condition but has not been thoroughly tested. It does power on and the LCD display works. No further testing done. It has been unused and in climate-controlled storage for several years. The SCR& Triac Test Accessory is attached to the top of the LC102 with velcro. I put fresh batteries in it but the power light does not come on. The battery compartment had old batteries and corrosion in it. This is the most complete restoration of a TO-6A I have ever seen. Jim Candler used to sell these on Ebay and did an exellent job on the restore. I dont think that you will find a better functioning Telohmike. I just have not used it enough to justify keeping it. Rear binding posts have been added so that it can be easily hooked up to an oscilloscope to check the functions. It has a grounded plug installed. The unit is very nice and clean. The case looks like it was repainted and looks great. This unit has a very detailed instruction and testing manual along with test/calibrtion capacitors and test leads.
