For sale is a very nice Heathkit Capacitor Checker. Model IT-28 with a printed copy of the manual or instructions. It does have some minor scratches and dent on the bottom vents. See photos. I went through some of the testing and calibration procedures. It seems to work as intended. Green eye opens and closes properly. I have only tested what I was able to. I am not a electronics expert. IT-28 Capacitor Checker This is a Heathkit Capacitor checker that will indicate the value of an unknown capacitor or resistor and check for leakage. What's very usefull is that you can control the working voltage of the capacitor under test for leakage. This makes this box ideal for"re-forming" old electrolytic capacitors up to 600 Volts. We keep one on the bench just for that purpose. This unit is fully functional. Very accurate, and is extremely clean, and has no user modifications or added holes. Comes with a copy of the manual. Looks like it was just assembled yesterday. The'Eye' tube is nice and bright. The electrolytic capacitors have already been replaced with new, so you don't have to do it.
