The metal cabinet shows normal signs of age and wear: some light surface scratches. The front panel is very easily read. The bakelite knob is unbroken and turns freely. The power cord is excellent- no cracks or bare wires showing. It measures 10 inches by 7 inches high and is 5 inches deep. It has rubber feet on the bottom of the case. This unit is surplus from a large manufacturing plant in our area. And was used to test and repair their early tube type business band radios. These radios were very similar to early tube type Ham radios I have tested this unit and all functions seem to work. The calibration seems to be correct. This is a vintage type item. And the metal case has a hammertone type of finish that seems to attract grime ... morein the nooks and crannies. The case could use a good cleaning, as it has sat on a workbench unused for many years. One knob is a replacement item It is mounted in a STRONG METAL- CARRY CASE. This unit was manufactured in the USA when the country still made high quality test equipment. As opposed the the newer lower quality items now made in China.
