The 1912A covers the frequency range from 5 Hz to 125 MHz at its high impedance input, and from 50 MHz to 520 MHz at its 50 ohm terminated input. Its Period and Period Average functions enable you to accurately measure very low frequencies(the reciprocal of the period) You can also use it to count events up to 9999999 using its Totalize mode. This unit is also equipped with Option 01, battery operation, for use away from a fixed power source. The battery pack consists of four 1.2 V rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries that are easily replaced. They are kept charged automatically whenever the unit is plugged in. Input B operation is demonstrated in the first photo measuring the 500 MHz output of my HP 8656B ... moresignal generator. This unit has a few options installed: 7(520MHz Prescaler) 15 IEEE-488 Interface, and 16(Rear Panel Inputs) This item is in good used condition. It shows some marks from use and storage. However there are no major damages to the unit, and no damages that affect its operation. The SEP-COM switch that is between the A& B input channels is sticky and difficult to slide and may need to be replaced. Also, whomever performed the last calibration on this unit managed to put everything back in the chassis backwards, so the handle does not line up with the feet to make a stable stand. This unit has been checked for operability in our warehouse. It was able to detect and read a waveform that was generated by an uncalibrated ... morewaveform generator. Fluke 7220A 1.3 GHz Frequency Counter Powers On Untested
Picked this up at a local estate sale and really know nothing about it. Here is what I can tell you. I am unable to test it for its intended use but I can tell you have powers on fine. It will need a detailed cleaning as it is rather dusty. There is a power cord included however it is not the original one for it but seems to function perfectly. There is one small knob that seems to have some damage however in researching this I did not see this piece on other models? At any rate I tried to highlighted in the last picture so please examine it closely. No leads or anything of that nature included with the exception of the power cord. Really don't know what else I can tell you but questions are welcome.
