For auction is a used. Working HP 5335A Universal Counter with Options 010, 030 and HP-IB interface. The unit is in good physical condition other than the corner of one of the push buttons that accidentally touched by a soldering iron. I have replaced the original cooling fan(which is fairly noisy) with a quieter fan in 2009 that works on a lower voltage(12 volts) I built a small voltage regulator board to step down the voltage supplying the original fan and the perf board sits in an unused slots inside the counter. The new fan is much quieter and makes it tolerable to work near it for a long period of time. The new fan hasn't had any problem with the machine overheating. For sale is one Racal-Dana 1992 Frequency Counter. Unit is in excellent shape with some sticker residue. And scratches, but otherwise amazing quality considering the age of the unit. All buttons work, and free like new(not the lifeless buttons you find on many Racal-Dana units of this age) Calibration was last done by the US Air Force in 2009(picture included) and from the picture you can see it appears to be about 2.8Hz out(not bad) on my 10Mhz source(GPSDO) Unit has options 04T(TCXO) and Option 55(GPIB/RS-488) Please let me know if you have any questions. This unit has the following options: 7751: 1.3GHz Channel C input. 7752: TXCO. It is shown connected to a Rubidium standard source-locked Rohde SMT03 signal generator set to 1.3GHz and 120MHz at 25mV which shows that it has good sensitivity(specification is 25mV) I have checked the range from 5KHz(lower limit of generator) all the way to 1.3GHz. All three input channels and GPIB have been tested and are good. This counter is ready to go to work for you. Cosmetically. It's in good cosmetic condition, with the usual sticker residue on the case. There is a large chunk of plastic broken off the rear panel. See pictures for details.
