We charged for 12 hours and only achieved partial power using the battery pack. As you can see from the photos, the battery compartment is clean. No corrosion, swelling or leaking of batteries. They may have simply reached the end of their useful life, or perhaps need a longer charging time because this unit has not been used in a while. Good overall used cosmetic condition. Vintage Ceramic Easter Duckling Duck Samson Import Co 1963 5303B Absolutely MINT
Condition does not get any better than this for this adorable vintage ceramic. Hand-painted duckling planter with a sky blue checkered Easter bonnet, decorated with a ton of rose colored flowers on the edge! Her bonnet is fitted with a sky blue tie and bow. She has 3 flowers in the feathers on her head. Expressive big black eyes outlined with blue with black lashes. A cute orange beak and orange webbed feet. Wait till you see the flowers which were obviously hand-laid on around the front of her bonnet before this piece was fired. The flowers are so mini tiny and intricate that the artist must have taken great care to lay them on there before the firing process! There are probably a thousand tiny flutes to the flowers and I can't see where even one is missing! This piece was hand-painted after it was fired in the kiln. Ever so slight discoloration ... moreto a small spot on top of the bonnet that I suspect was there during it's manufacture. Planter cavity itself is quite deep and in perfect condition. There is a hardened-on drip of white paint just under the ducklings head inside of the planter cavity, which dried during her making. There are slight dark markings on the base edge. On the bottom is stamped in a nice, well-seen green paint with: ©SAMSON IMPORT CO 1963 5303B" Everything is so nicely done. Capable of holding nuts. Candy, dried fruit, or your favorite decorative accent, or to start your Spring flowers. The piece just jumps out at ya as unusual and beautiful! She measures approx. 7" tall x 4 3/4" long x 3.5" wide and weighs less than a lb. From 1963. Shipping is USPS to Lower 48 at $8.95.
