Reel is a Daiwa US-40X with trigger-cast and is in good condition. Holds 85yds of 4lb line and operates smoothly. This was a high quality combo when it came out just like the MiniSpin combos. It is a 2pc, with the orange or brown fiberglass. The rod has the decals mostly rubbed off. There is no other damage. It is clean and has great action. All the guides are perfect. The reel is super clean and smooth. It has no play, nothing is worn out. The bail is quick and crisp, the drag is smooth. It has a few light paint rubs. We have two sets and we will checck the other set out and list it on Ebay soon. It all appears to have had very little use. I do not see any sign of rust or damage. The reel spins freely and the bail folds over and jumps back when the reel is operated. We are not experts in fishing equipment but this looks and seems in excellent condition. The case has loops on the back; I suppose for carrying on a pack or maybe your belt. Reel is Left or right hand retrieve. 4.4 to 1 retrieve. Holds 160 yards of 2 lb. test line or 65 yards of 8 lb. test line. Rod is tubular fiberglass construction.
