Vintage Daiwa Minicast Fishing Rod And Reel In Hard Plastic Travel Case VG+ NICE
VERY NICE- Barely Used- Vintage Daiwa Minicast Fishing Rod. Real and Hard Plastic Protective Case. This item is in VG+ condition. A recent find. Tucked away for so many years that my Dad forgot he had it. he's a golfer, not a fisher. It may have been purchased by him for a rafting trip he took down the Colorado River, which was when Mount St. Helen erupted in May of 1980. It was the one and only time it would have been used. The outside of the hard shell case has a few scratches. Dings, nothing major. The inside of the case is in excellent condition, and includes a small area under where the handle and reel seat sits- marked specifically for Terminal Tackle. The 4 piece rod is a MC 59S Minicast Silver, and is in excellent condition. The handle and reel seat are also excellent. The reel is a silver color Daiwa MC-2 in VG+ condition. There ... moreis a small scuff on the top and a couple pinpoint size marks on the closed face. I have pics detailing these. Other than that, it looks great. I did not open it up, but am assuming that it will need some new grease, as it has been in storage for so long. I gave it a basic test and it feels good and works good. Please Note: There are a few glare spots in pictures. Specifically on the reel in some pics where it was picking up a pink- red reflection.
