You are bidding on a kids fishing pole. A white and purple Shakespeare Rod/Reel Combo(roughly 30" tall) which is used but in good condition. There is still line on the pole, but new fishing line is reccomended. Reel is a little stiff but still works. Some light markings from normal use and wear. It looks as if the bottom of the pole has been chipped off, as it exposes a hollow plastic opening at the bottom, but it doesn't effect the pole's ability to catch a fish. This Shakespeare is a 1998 Warner Bros. print, and really is a rare find now a-days. Drag setting included! This would make an excellent, original starter fishing pole for any child! Free shipping. This Rod& Reel combo is probably from the 1960/70's and was used by dad who recently passed. He was not a huge fisherman. So the rod& reel look like new, especially the reel. The rod says 6'6" Graphite composite ALPHA action-M, along with Shakespeare SP 1310A. All eyelets are perfect and rod is in great condition. The reel looks new and is a Shimano Custom 2500 with Rear Drag System, Ball Bearing gear ratio 5.1:1. The reel looks like new, and has string still on it that looks like recently re strung.
