This is a very nice. Reliable reel and rod. I have used this reel for several years without any issues. The reel has a smooth action with all the gadgets you need for fresh water fishing. The reel is an off gold color. The rod is a Berkley Scout 5'6" 2pc. It is very manageable and has great play. Being 2 piece and short it is easy to bring along. The rod is rated to 1/8" to 3/8" lures and 4-10 pound line. Fishing Rod and Reel Combo: Shimano FX200 Quick Fire II Reel & Berkley Rod
Up for auction is a perfect combo for the medium-heavy freshwater and medium saltwater fishing. The reel is a Shimano FX 200 Quickfire II Spinning reel that has been barely used. The Berkley rod is a medium-heavy 7 foot Spinning rod. My dad caught a 40 inch northern pike on the rod. He had a huge closed face Zebco reel on it back then. I later used it with the Shimano reel on carp and muskins. The 7 foot rod is great for casting long distances even in the surf. It has a wonderful action that allows you to feel every movement of the fish.

This is for a Vintage 1960's Black Berkley Fishing Spinning Reel with the"Sweetheart" symbol of the side. No. 4200. It is in very good used cosmetic condition. The mech. appears to work correctly. The reel was not field tested. It has scratches. Scrapes, dings and minor paint loss. Attached is the matching two peaice rod with the sweetheart stamp mark on the butt of handle. It is 7 foot long. I would say this is very light action. As with all fish poles you should change the line before trying to bring the big one in.

THE REEL IS A COMMANDER NO. 1200. IT ALSO IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO FINISH LOSS. IT IS SPOOLED WITH A LINE THAT LOOKS FISHABLE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT SIZE IT IS.
