You are looking at a Daiwa AC80 reel and Daiwa 231CGB rod combo. The reel is a bit scratched up mostly from being moved around and storage but works great, the rod os in near mint condition though, all guides,wraps, handle and finish are great, It is 6' 2piece light action for 4-8lb line and 1/8-1/4oz lures. Vintage ZEBCO Magnum Spincast Reel and Rod Combo
Up for auction is my Dad's old Zebco 808 Magnum heavy duty spincast reel with his 7 foot Berkley Rod. His used this in Canada to catch huge Northerns. Walleye, and Smallmouth. He used it at Hatteras to catch Bluefish, Stripers, and Flounder. He bought this outfit in 1971 and used it'till just before he passed away. We put him under on his 95th birthday. When he caught his big Pike with this rig he named him"Lost John" He said"Old Lost John has finally found himself a home, on my wall in my den. That old Pike is hanging on the wall of my man cave now with all my other trophys. This old combo still works perfectly and I truly believe that whoever gets it will be blessed with the same good fishing as my Dad. Good bidding!
