This is a very nice. Reliable reel and rod. I have used this reel for several years without any issues. The reel has a smooth action with all the gadgets you need for fresh water fishing. The reel is an off gold color. The rod is a Berkley Scout 5'6" 2pc. It is very manageable and has great play. Being 2 piece and short it is easy to bring along. The rod is rated to 1/8" to 3/8" lures and 4-10 pound line. This combo is experienced so don't expect it to be shinny new, there are some scratches on the reel but they do not interfere with operation.see the pictures, they are what it is! Good luck,

This 1907 rod is in good condition considering it's 100 plus years. It is a telescopic pole which does extend with some effort. Could use some minor maitenance from the right owner. Reel is Pfluger Trion low profile Baitcasting,line capacity 12/160, 14/130, 17/90 and is spooled 20lbs braid line, reel has some scratches from normal use, working excellent, used few times, but i don't like casting reels, sitting in the closet for a couple of years,so I decided to sell this great combo.
