1930s KITCHENAID MODEL H COMMERCIAL MIXER w BOWL -works- VINTAGE HOBART
This is the fairly rare Model'H' electric mixer from Kitchenaid. This Model was introduced in 1924 and was the first machine to bear the logo for this company. This is a 110 volt. Commercial size mixer with probably a 7 plus quart capacity. This has two turning arms, with a heavy 1/10 hp motor. This machine probably dates to the late 1920s/early'30s, and weighs in at about 85 pounds. This measures 26 1/2 in. tall with a 14 in. head unit. This includes an original Mixing bowl and whisk attachment. This has some wear: the handle for the speed lever is broken off and the metal on it is deteriorating/there is overall wear from time to the original finish-the power cord and likely the brushes have been replaced somewhere along the way. Hobart S601 60 QT Quart Mixer Vintage Antique
This is an interesting one! I am told that this is a Hobart S601. There is no identifying plate that I can find to verify that. I am also told that this was used in a school and was working a few months ago but since I have not tried it out I am selling it as non-working. It appears by the wiring to be phase 1. As you can see by the photos this is easily 50+ years old and still has the original paint and Hobart Tag. This would look great restored in the front window of a bakery/candy shop. The bowl lift works(could use a little lube) and the chrome shroud above the mixer spindle has been dented(see picture#8) Please ask any questions. Nice Vintage I think Hobart or Kitchenaid Mixing bowl for a vintage mixer.size is 8" diameter and 7" tall. Nice shape has some utensil marks etc which you would expect from a mixer bowl! Vintage Hobart N-50 Mixer W/ Accessories
Vintage Hobart N-50 commercial mixer w/ bowl. Beater, and whip attachments. The mixer fell over in my storage unit and dented the rear cover. When I turned it on it seemed to work fine but when I tested it later on high speed I could hear the motor running but there was no movement. I turned it off, manually moved the beater a little, turned it back on and it worked fine. I have tested it several more times on each speed and it worked fine with no problems. It definitely needs to be serviced before putting into heavy use. Besides the dents on the back it is in good cosmetic condition. It appears to have been repainted at some point and the cord replaced. There is a screw missing on the bottom(see photo) The bowl is old and not in great shape. The beater attachment is in excellent condition, the whip needs to be cleaned and I noticed some ... morerust spots on it as well. Vintage HOBART AS-200 Commercial Mixer for Parts a/o Repair
From an area school system which no longer prepares meals for the kids. This particular unit runs. But the gears do not properly engage all of the time. When the gears do engage, 85% or so of the time, the mixer performs as I expect it to. Also the switch has a selection for"STIR" which accomplished nothing from what I can tell. The paint is obviously in need of a do-over. The cord has an area with electrical tape which is generally a sign that it needs a new cord. I have the head removed from the stand for shipping, too heavy for UPS as a whole. I also have the lift handle linkage disconnected. Please ask any questions. A nice vintage Hobart Mixer aluminum beater/paddle. In nice condition except for some small surface dings from it's prior life in a bakery. The bakery closed a few years ago, so this item is looking for a new home. I cleaned it up a bit for the photos so it will need a final cleaning by you before you put it to use.
