This is a nice commercial 30qt Hobart D-300 Mixer. The motor sounds to run smooth as silk but the gear box appears to need some attention. The speed control easily switches between speeds 1& 3 but does not appear to affect the speed at all. And if you manually turn the mixer shaft a bit you can get it to slip into the speed 2 position but it still does not appear to affect the speed. Basically as it is. the mixer currently seems to work really well in One(1) Speed. And what speed that actually is. I'm not sure. Comes with Dough Hook and Whisk. This is a 12 year old mixer. That has worked great, except for it has gotten stuck into low gear, and needs to be repaired. It is a fairly costly repair, and I decided to buy a new mixer instead.
