Hobart M-802 Mixer Up for auction is this used Hobart M-802 Mixer. It is overall in decent cosmetic condition. Though it is a bit older and has had quite a bit of use. There is some rust and flaking paint on the unit. The main issue is that the rotary part of the mixer that attachments would be attached to has been removed. The shaft is still there and does spin. See photos below for more information on physical condition. The data plate has been removed. We wired the mixer up to 240V. Set the timer to an appropriate time and pressed the start button and the motor immediately started. We put the mixer into each of the 4 gears and each one worked well. This is a automatic bowl lift transmission for a Hobart M802 or V1401 mixer. It has been dismantled. Checked over, keys replaced and had the grease replaced. It was checked over by a Hobart Technician. You will need to transfer the pulley, springs, steel balls, plate and nut from your mixer onto this. It is exactly how it comes from the factory, in it's original box. These sell from the manufacturer for over $1800 new! It has been tested. IT IS BEING SOLD AS IS! I can't accept returns on this because if you install it on a mixer and it breaks from being forced I can't be responsible. Make sure the bowl lift nut and bowl lift screw are good. This is a Super nice shape Hobart model M802 80 quart mixer with a factory safety bowl guard. voltage 200 3 phase. comes with OEM Hobart stainless steel bowl no dents. OEM wire whip beater and dough hook,This came out of a place that had 3 Hobart mixers and this one was not used very much it was to large for what they needed. They used it maybe once a month over its lifetime. I tore the transmission down and every gear is in perfect shape. I put new seals and bearings in transmission and planetary not cheap no name bearings with no ID on them to even tell who and where they were made, I use same brand high quality bearings Hobart installs in them in the factory and this is a important issue when it comes to longevity in mixer life. These classic mixers did not get the reputation they have with cheap no name bearings. Also has new transmission ... moregear belt and bowl lift belt and clutch's. paint is in great shape. Its a rare find to find this model with such low use. If your doing a full 50 pound bag of high gluten flour and have a low abortion ratio dough and and breaking your 60 qt mixer this is the one you need. If you have any questions on recipe's on this mixer or others please ask, I have been repairing and rebuilding Hobart mixers daily for over 36 years and am factory trained by Hobart.
