NOTE: There is a picture of the BACK of the MIXER housing- I wanted to include that so you knew what type of casting this motor came out of. But see below the exact particulars such as ML# SIZE, etc. to make sure this will fit your mixer! This came off of the following: HOBART MODEL: A200T ML: 104558 115 Volts 8.2 Amps 1725 rpm 1/2 HP motor PROBLEM: This motor has an"out of round" shaft at the very back of the motor where the motor has 2 small thin screws to secure it to the back of the mixer housing and as such it does not run correctly. However, one might be able to true the shaft and put a shim over the shaft and then put the bearing back in and that should ... moretake care of it. The shaft is supposed to be at 12mm, but we measured it and it is at 11.5mm on part of the shaft thus the"OUT OF ROUND" description. Please understand that I have taken this motor to a motor shop in Nashville. TN and verified the following that I have already stated. The windings IF that's all you need is worth what I'm asking! The motor is fixable. But I wanted to be upfront about everything that I know about this motor in stating that IF you just put this in another mixer, then what will happen is that the shaft will have a bit of a wobble because the back of the shaft somehow got out of round? Hope that makes sense.
